For admittance to the VFW 7447 Post Home, all VFW Post 7447 non-members must present a current VFW membership card from their Post of Record & sign the Post Home Guest book prior to service or seating. All current VFW, VFW Auxiliary or VFW Post 7447 DD214 ARMED FORCES members may sponsor admittance of non-member guests. The sponsoring VFW member must sign ALL non member guests into the Post Home Guest book prior to service or seating. All guests must enter & exit with the sponsoring member.

FOR ALL CURRENT VETERANS SERVICE ORGANIZATION MEMBERS
Post 7447 welcomes other Veteran Service Organization members (e.g. American Legion, VFW, AmVets, DAV) as guests but request them to sign in the Post Guest Book and to present a current membership card from their respective organization prior to being served or seated. VSO members must sign ALL non member guests into the Post Home Guest book prior to service or seating.
All guests must enter & exit with the sponsoring member.

Operation of the Post Home is under the direct authority of the VFW 7447 Post Home House Committee. Day to day Canteen service is under the control of the on-duty bartender. Please adhere to requests for guest sign-in, current membership card presentation and appropriate behavior. The on duty bartender or any Post Officer present may refuse service or request a patron’s exit from the interior & exterior Post Home; regardless of membership.

The on-duty bartender controls beverage service and will announce last call / closing time up to FIFTEEN MINUTES prior to closing. That bartender has the authority to extend service hours at his/her discretion.

Should there be no business up to one hour before scheduled closing, the bartender on duty has the authority to close. It is suggested you phone ahead to confirm the Post remains open.
